Hello! I’m Diana Lagler

I began my career in 2000, when we worked on desktop computers and some of us carried a Blackberry. We worked in offices and hung out with colleagues and clients outside of work. We had time to build relationships and to really understand ourselves and each other and what we sought to achieve.

Today, we’re slacking, texting, emailing, zooming, and traveling. Expectations to drive exponential growth, new technologies requiring a constant reimagining of how we work, and rapidly changing market conditions combine to fuel a constant flurry of activity.

Achieving remarkable results requires intentional, purposeful activity, and strong relationships.

The birth of Blue Zebra

For decades, I channeled my energy for pursuing growth, building strong partnerships, and leading teams into becoming a seasoned enterprise B2B sales executive and a trusted advisor working with leaders at some of the world’s most respected publicly traded and private-equity backed technology, consulting, and financial services companies.

Having the space I needed to imagine, to think, and to be creative was essential to my success.

From building long-term partnerships based on sincerity and trust, to designing business and marketing strategies that work, building and leading high performing teams, and partnering with colleagues in thinking through career moves and reinventions - I realized my best ideas came to me when I was not at my desk and when I was not even thinking about work.

And with that, Blue Zebra was born!

What do zebras have to do with anything?

Zebras are beautiful creatures that represent balance, harmony, and clarity - and, as luck would have it, they embody our values!

Growth & Curiosity

Zebras are on a constant search for green pastures and water. We, too, are on a constant quest to fuel our minds and our souls.

Connection

Zebras are social animals that stay in small groups, live together in a larger herd, and are known to form “super herds” for major migrations. We, too, value community, connection, and the inspiration and support we receive from each other.

Achievement

Plains zebras make the longest migration of all land mammals in Africa, covering 240 km in just over a fortnight. We, too, believe in shooting for the stars, and the necessity of taking action and persevering through discomfort to achieve our goals.

Diversity

Every zebra has a unique pattern of stripes. We, too, value diversity in its countless forms.

Is associated with open spaces (think: sky, sea), freedom, imagination, intuition, and confidence - who doesn’t love that?
